This policy explains how Assured Marketing (“we”, “us”) handles personal information when you visit this website or get in touch with us. We keep it short because we collect very little.
Who we are
Assured Marketing Ltd (company number 13102813, registered in England and Wales; ICO registration ZA854201) is the data controller for personal information covered by this policy. What we collect
When you contact us
If you email or call us, we’ll receive the details you choose to share, such as your name, email address, phone number, company and the details of your enquiry. We use these to reply, discuss your project and, if we work together, to deliver our services.
When you use our enquiry form
Our enquiry form asks for your email address, name, company (optional), the services you’re interested in, your budget, your timeline, your website (optional) and a description of your project.
The form saves your answers as you go. As soon as you’ve entered a valid email address, it’s saved automatically, and so are your later answers, without you pressing a button, so nothing is lost if you’re interrupted. If you don’t finish, we keep what you entered (a “partial enquiry”) for up to 30 days and use it only in connection with that enquiry. Entering your email doesn’t sign you up to anything: we never add partial or completed enquiries to marketing lists. You can delete a partial enquiry at any time with the “Clear my answers” link in the form.
Your details are stored encrypted in our database. When you submit the form, we email the details to our team so we can reply.
Unfinished enquiries. If you start the form but don’t submit it, our team receives a daily internal email listing unfinished enquiries from the past day, including whatever you entered (such as your email address, name, company, the services you chose and your project description), when you started and the page you were on. Each unfinished enquiry is included once. We use this only to follow up about that enquiry, under our legitimate interest in responding to people who have asked about our services: it is never used for marketing, and we don’t email you automatically. If you’d rather we didn’t contact you, use “Clear my answers” before leaving the form, or let us know at info@assuredmarketing.co.uk.
To protect the form from spam and abuse, it uses Cloudflare Turnstile, a security check that usually runs invisibly. To do this, Cloudflare processes information about your browser and device, including your IP address. SeeCloudflare’s Turnstile privacy notice. We also keep a scrambled (hashed) form of your IP address to limit how often the form can be used, and the form sets one strictly necessary cookie that links your answers together while you fill it in (it expires after two days and isn’t used for tracking).
When you visit the website
This website does not use analytics or advertising trackers, and apart from the enquiry form’s security cookie described above, it doesn’t use cookies. Like almost every website, our hosting provider’s servers automatically record basic technical information (such as your IP address, browser type and the pages requested) in server logs, which are used to keep the site secure and working.
Some images on this site are currently delivered from a third-party content delivery network, which receives your IP address when your browser loads them, in the same way as any website you visit.
Our legal basis
- Legitimate interests: replying to enquiries (including keeping partial enquiries for a short time so your answers aren’t lost, and sharing unfinished enquiries with our team in a daily internal summary so we can follow up about them), protecting the form from spam and abuse, and keeping the website secure.
- Contract: delivering services you have asked us to provide, or taking steps before entering into a contract.
- Legal obligation: keeping records we are required to keep, such as for tax and accounting.
Who we share it with
We don’t sell your information. We only share it with the service providers we use to run our business (such as our website host and email provider, IONOS, and Cloudflare for the form’s security check), who process it on our behalf and only as we instruct, or where we are required to by law.
How long we keep it
Partial enquiries (forms that weren’t submitted) are deleted after 30 days. Submitted enquiries are kept for up to 24 months, unless you become a client, in which case client records are kept for as long as required for legal and accounting purposes. Server logs are kept by our host for a limited period.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you have the right to:
- access the personal information we hold about you;
- ask us to correct or delete it;
- object to or restrict how we use it;
- ask for it in a portable format.

Our site links to other websites, such as Google Maps for directions. Those sites have their own privacy policies, which apply when you visit them.

We’ll update this page if the way we handle personal information changes. The date at the top shows when it was last updated.
